DRAWING TAGS
- In units 13 and 14 hunters apply in advance in a permit lottery. Application for permits is during Nov. 1 – Dec. 15, through Vast Alaska. Alaska Fish and Game selects your Alaska Sheep Drawing permit by random lottery in February. If you are drawn your hunt will be permitted for the upcoming season. We can facilitate a quick and seamless application for your Alaskan Trophy Hunt free of charge.
OVER THE COUNTER (OTC) / HARVEST TAGS
- Vast Alaska has a limited number of Over the Counter (OTC) tags, which do not require a permit lottery application for a drawing tag. Call for more information (907) 350-3982 or fill out the form below and select the OTC check box indicating your interest.

All hunters using bow and arrow to hunt big game must have successfully completed a ADFG approved certification course before applying for a Restricted Weapons Hunt. If you were born on or after Jan. 1, 1986 you must complete a Bow Hunter Certification Course. (IBEP)
